LA QUINTA SHIP CHANNEL EXTENSION FUNDED
- Funding is now in place to extend La Quinta Ship Channel, a required initial step in creation of the 1,100-acre multi-purpose deepwater terminal being developed by the Port of Corpus Christi Authority.

E - The District has awarded a $641,440 contract to buy 56,000 linear feet of 12-inch PVC pipe. The early action was forced by rapidly rising pipe prices.

STATE AWARDS CONTRACT FOR HIGHWAY OVERPASS
- Work will begin soon on a SH 35 highway project that will improve access to the TPCO pipe plant site. The Water District is working with TPCO on how water will be provided to the plant.
