9   PLANT A FILTRATION - Clarified water from the sedimentation basins flows to filtration. Additional chlorine dioxide is added as the water enters the Plant A dual media filters which are made up of layers of anthracite and sand. Water exiting the filters is clear and additional chemicals are added as it goes into treated water storage.
